American Eagle Store

Message: I was in on the 27th. A girl went out of her way and helped my son walk through the store and pick out clothes that didn’t overstimulate him. It’s so hard to find employees like that nowadays. Maddy? Mandy? The store manager is also very kind and helpful.

Message: Staff is amazing! Unlike other stores every time I go into this American Eagle I am greeted at the door and asked if I need any help. The store manager saw that I was holding items that I wanted to try on and was nice enough to offer to hold my items at the fitting room. It was great to know I had a fitting room waiting for me and I could look for more items without having to carry everything. It was a welcome change to actually see store employees and managers who care to help the customer. I watched the store manager make sure that everyone who walked into the store was greeted and made to feel welcome. As I was shopping for additional items to try on the store manager came to check on me a couple of times to make sure that I didn't need help. Like I said a welcome change from what I am used to where people just don't seem to care about the customer or their job. These employees clearly take pride in what they do!

Message: I have been shopping here since 2008 (card holder since 2014) and always had a good experience. My last visit was not the best experience. I was shopping for a holiday outfit and was looking for pants. The store manager was extra helpful to the point I felt harrassed by her. I couldn't turn a corner without her being in my face. I politely told her I didn't need help and that I was fine but she didn't stop. She even grabbed my items out of my hands to "hold up front" I told her I would be trying it on. She then suggested they would hold it at the fitting room. I told her to leave me alone so she had other employees monitor me like I was a thief. I then went to the fitting room and tried on my items and she them went to check on me I was getting the "royal treatment in a packed store full of customers that might also need assistance. I then went to pay and the store manager checked me out and as she was ringing me up a couple (black)walked in and they wernt even all the way inside when she intercomed one of the employees to go check on them. The store was packed with Many customers that needed "help" It was so obvious that any black or brown customer that walked in was automatically assumed a thief. I know the holidays are busy and stealing may take place but it seemed they picked black and brown people as their main suspect! This makes me think twice about ever stepping inside this store again if those are their views.. I will take my black dollars somewhere else.

Message: The staff made the whole experience the best. They were very helpful in listening to what my granddaughter was looking for and showing her the style options. Then they ordered her size for us and had it sent to her home.
